Dr Ang graduated from the National University of Singapore Medical
School in 1989 and embarked upon his surgical training at the Singapore General Hospital after his housemanship. He was selected
to undergo Plastic Surgery training at the Singapore General Hospital from 1994 under the tutorship of world-renowned Plastic
Surgeons like Professor ST Lee and Professor KC Tan.
In 1999, Dr Ang was awarded the Ministry of Health Human Manpower Development Programme and
spent a year in sub-speciality training in the Division of Plastic Surgery, University of Toronto under Professor Peter Neligan.
He returned to Singapore in 2000 and was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Singapore General Hospital.
He continued his practice in the private
sector based at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in 2005, and is accredited to practice with the Parkway Hospitals, Raffles
Hospital, Mount Alvernia Hospital and Thomson Medical Centre.
Dr Ang is a certified Plastic Surgeon on the Singapore Medical Council's Register of Specialists.
He is an active member of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Singapore Society for Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Surgeons,
Fellow of Academy of Medicine of Singapore (Plastic Surgery), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
